Editing
You want your writing to be the best it can be.
Every writer can benefit from outside editing. Even if you are an excellent writer with a firm grasp of the English language, a second pair of eyes can be invaluable in picking up small errors and typos.
If you have great ideas but struggle with conveying them on paper, I can help you with that. I can take your raw material and make it shine. If you prefer dictating to writing, I can transcribe your audio file and work from that.
No project is too small or too large. I’m happy to edit blog posts, emails, website content, or to tackle full-length book projects.

Do you need an article or blog post on a topic related to Catholic living?
I have written book reviews, articles, Gospel reflections, and daily devotional reflections. I am happy to research and write on any topic related to Catholic life, parenting, and education.

Are you working on a nonfiction book? Do you want to query traditional publishers, but are unsure how to begin? I can help you create a professional book proposal to present your project in the best possible light.
Copywriting
Do you need help promoting your website or business?
Whether you are attempting to gain new clients or to cultivate relationships with current ones, communicating clearly and in a positive manner with your customers and news media is the key to a successful business.
I can assist you with website copy, press releases, email newsletters, and direct mail advertising letters.
Self-Publishing
Do you need help navigating Amazon’s Createspace or Kindle Publishing platforms?
I can format your manuscript and prepare it for publishing. I can also assist with cover design.
Prices and Turn-Around Time
I will get your project back to you as quickly as possible. Smaller projects may be able to be completed within a couple of days. Book-length projects may take up to a month depending on the work involved. If my schedule will not allow me to complete your project in your requested timetable, or if I feel I cannot give your work the attention it deserves, I will decline to take on the project. Payment is expected upon completion of the work.
Prices for Editing:
Developmental editing (general organizational help / feedback): $1 / double spaced 12 pt font page
Content editing (grammar correction, proofreading): $2/ double spaced 12 pt font page
Blog Posts or Articles: $15 for 500 words or less, $10 for each additional 500 words
